Adults

From the very beginning, Gateway Community Church has been a church that cherishes authentic community. Our goal is to have approximately 80% of our church in a community group. That’s a big goal, but it’s one we believe is worth striving to achieve because community groups provide a place to foster genuine, transparent relationships. Community groups play an essential role in the care and development of a Christ-follower. It’s the environment where sustained life change occurs.

Community groups usually consist of 10 to 14 people who gather together on a regular basis to study God’s word and discuss the issues and challenges of life.  Our Community Groups meet immediately following the Morning Worship Service on Sundays.   Practically speaking, there will never be a way for the staff to personally minister to everyone who attends our church. That’s why we place such a high premium on group life. It’s how we minister effectively at Gateway Community Church.
