Discover Gateway is a 2-week class that we offer regularly as an opportunity not only to become a member but also to learn more about the vision, values and ministries at Gateway. During this class, we will explain the vision and mission of Gateway Community Church, and will equip you with the tools necessary to live the Christian life.

What we cover:
Session 1
The Bible - Discover powerful, practical evidence that the Bible is the authoritative word of God. In this class, we will help you develop a Biblical framework that will help you apply the Bible to contemporary social issues. You will learn how to use the Bible in the choices and decisions you make every day, in large and small ways. This class will help you learn how to live your faith!
Spiritual Disciplines: Learn some of the marks of spiritual maturity. You'll discover the Biblical principles of Prayer, Fasting, Tithing, and Spiritual Gifts.
Session 2
Our Vision & Strategy: Learn the importance of the Gateway Community Church vision & strategy. Every church has a vision, nothing new there. The difficulty is coming up with a strategy to fulfill that vision. For us we have defined our strategy through the context of relationship. In this session, we will evaluate and uncover the three relationships we want everyone to pursue.
Community and Transformation Groups: These groups are the primary way we strive to fulfill our vision of God changing us and through us changing our world. This session will allow you the opportunity to find your place in the body of Gateway, and to understand your role in this important ministry.
